Survey Results

As some of you may know, I recently created a survey for Realistic Anxiety just to get a gage on what people are thinking of the website so far and it was so interesting to see the responses. The survey was strictly anonymous, I do not know who said what but here are the general responses.

1). Have you viewed Realistic Anxiety?

92.3% = Yes

7.7% = No

2). How likely are you to refer Realistic Anxiety to a friend?

53.8% = Quite likely

38.5% = Extremely likely

7.7% = Not so likely

3). I asked “.. how do you cope with your anxiety?'“

There was a variety of answers, however (using thematic analysis), I can see reoccurring themes such as thinking logically or contextualising the situation, others saying socialising. So it’s clear to see two different extremes when it comes to people coping with their anxiety, one is very individualistic by thinking through it in their own head, while others tend to be more collective and tend to socialise with others.

4) I asked “What is your main benefit from reading Realistic Anxiety?

61.5% said it was an enjoyable read

23.1% said it makes them feel less alone

7.7% said it gives them piece of mind

7.7% said it helps calm their anxiety (WHICH IS AMAZING THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH)

4). “What do you think Realistic Anxiety could improve on?

A few of you said nothing, it’s 10/10, mega slay (thank you so much).

Someone asked for more blogs and information on how to deal with anxiety which is exactly what I am here for so more of that coming soon <3

Another asked for video content, I was thinking of a podcast rather than like YouTube videos but it’s something I will consider <3

Someone else said spelling mistakes and overall grammar (fair enough, I am not to great at that but I should be triple checking everything).

Someone also said a social media page, I do! It is @realisticanxiety_ on Instagram x

5) “Are there any topic you would like to see covered on Realistic Anxiety?

I can see a few answers surrounding travelling, work, balancing life so I will plan those now.

There also one about accessibility to resources which is so important so I will be adding resources to the front page of website very soon!
